Shakespeare's offers a night full of entertainment, beginning with guitarist, vocalist and songwriter, Kevin Henry. He's made his career as a performer since 1982 when he left his last real job behind in Florida. He is famous in Michigan for his unique song list he calls "warm weather music" - a blend of classic rock and Buffett songs that he plays on his acoustic guitar. He's played for huge crowds and intimate gatherings, in big bars and beer joints. Happily, Kevin is here at Shakespeare's Pub on Tuesdays (since October 2004) for the foreseeable future.
After Kevin finishes at 10pm, Open Mic Night with the Travis Willey Experience begins. Combining the sweet overtones of Cat Stevens, the edginess of Tom Waits, and the raw sexuality that only Travis Willey can deliver, Shakespeare's Pub reluctantly presents The Travis Willey Experience featuring the vocal and harmonica prowess of Jason Ciluffo. So please save all the frequent Pabst drinkers and brewery series enthusiasts from bleeding ears and entertain us yourselves. It's open mic! Bring your guitar, bring your voice, and bring some singles for some Pabst.
